For four years, The Lift Box has prided itself on quality, variety, customer service and overall value, while appealing to both exercise novices and hardcore fitness enthusiasts.
But, there are the things about The Lift Box you can't put a price on that may be the best reasons to stick around, and that includes heartfelt values and an unbelievably supportive community.
The Lift Box now has thousands of subscribers worldwide and a growing online community called The Box Crew, which allows the sharing of questions, ideas, feedback and suggestions.
Also, as military-owned and -operated company, The Lift Box proudly supports other military-related companies and causes whenever possible.
One of the other unique aspects of The Lift Box is the accessibility of the staff, and the team recently had the chance to travel to Florida to support a great event, promote The Lift Box and meet many subscribers and fellow veterans.
The trip brought Lift Box Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Adam Lien back to South Florida, where he spent a portion of his career in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Lien and The Lift Box served as a title sponsor for the 2021 Nate Bruckenthal Memorial Golf Fellowship, which is an annual event conducted by the South Florida Chapter of the Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Association to honor the memory and sacrifice of Bruckenthal, who was killed in action in 2004 while serving aboard USS FIREBOLT in the North Arabian Gulf.
As a title sponsor for the June 18 event, The Lift Box provided Lift Box gear packs to every golfer.
Lien and The Lift Box's Dan Cafferky and Jaime Snowaert also were on-hand to present the awards to the winning golfers.
The CGTLEA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization dedicated to supporting Coast Guard service members and their families.
"It was bittersweet to be back in Fort Lauderdale, where I had a chance to make many friends and memories during my career in the Coast Guard," Lien said. "We were honored to be part of such a meaningful event and ceremony, as our military background is a huge part of the foundation and values of The Lift Box."
Along with the golf tournament, the Lift Box team also had the opportunity to attend a special ceremony, during which, the Tactical Law Enforcement Team South L building was named in honor of Bruckenthal.
Bruckenthal was stationed at TACLET South before his final deployment.
During Lien's time in Fort Lauderdale, he twice was named Enlisted Person of the Year for the Tactical Law Enforcement Team South and Fort Lauderdale Council Enlisted Person of the Year.
Since emerging on the fitness box scene in 2017, The Lift Box has featured hundreds of products from dozens of companies, and that has created many ongoing partnerships and relationships.
Among them, Patriot Sports Nutrition, a supplement company owned by retired U.S. Marines Wade Waddick and Phil Krizmanich and headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida.
Their Evolution Fitness facility, a one-of-a-kind, fully comprehensive training facility that combines science with cutting-edge techniques, invited The Lift Box team to take part in a special free workout for veterans, something they offer regularly.
The workout was a full body HIIT-style (high intensity interval training) workout that consisted of kettlebell carries, battle ropes, calisthenics, sled pushes, pull-ups, sit-ups and running, all in 45 minutes.
There were approximately 40 people on-hand for the workout, including Lien and Cafferky.
Along with being able to interact with fellow veterans and some Lift Box subscribers, the team was able to hand out more Lift Box gear packs, Lift Box wrist straps and answer any questions about the monthly box.
"Anytime we can get out into the community to meet and work with veterans in any capacity, it means a lot, and to be able to tie in our passion for fitness made it a very memorable day," Lien said. "We're grateful to Wade and Phil for allowing us to be part of their workout and for their continued support of The Lift Box."
Beyond the interactive community, The Lift Box simply offers the chance to try supplements, snacks and other products before committing to full-size versions.
Everything that appears in the monthly box has been tested and vetted by the Lift Box staff for taste, quality, comfort and durability, but it is feedback and suggestions from subscribers that often dictates what some of the products might be.
A monthly subscription to The Lift Box is $39.95. Each box includes a shirt and a variety of items to help make every workout a personal best.
